The Local Enterprise Offices is your local first-stop shop for seeking information and support on starting or growing a business in Ireland. Whether you are a new entrepreneur or an existing small business owner.

The Local Enterprise Office provides advice, information and support to you in starting up or growing your business and organises events and initiatives to support networking groups.

  • Local Enterprise Office Client Photoshoot

Following on from the recent successful client photoshoot, the Local Enterprise Office are offering another fantastic opportunity for clients to have free professional photographs taken of themselves and of their products. While dates and times have yet to be confirmed it is hoped to have the shoot before year end.

  • Strategic Leadership for Growth - 6 workshops

A four month programme (held on 10th, 31st of Jan, 21st of Feb, 13th of Mar, 3rd and 24th of Apr 2024), this Strategic Leadership for Growth Programme provides an exceptional opportunity for SME Owners and Managers in South Dublin to build on necessary leadership, business strategy, growth and export skills and knowledge needed to successfully compete in existing and new markets.

  • Email Marketing - 11th January

This course provides attendees with a good basic understanding of Email Marketing and how to implement their knowledge in marketing their business.  You will learn some hints and tips to apply good email marketing practice to your business.

  • Digital and Social Media Marketing Strategy - 16th January

A high energy and interactive session designed as an introduction to the digital strategy and planning. The module will give participants an overview of the different elements that make up a successful digital marketing strategy. Participants will create their own actionable digital marketing plan during the session.

  • TikTok For Business: Beginners Masterclass - 17th January

This course is designed to help you understand if TikTok is right and relevant for your business and know how to use TikTok effectively when marketing your business..

  • Instagram for Business - 17th January

This course provides attendees with a clear view of how to use Instagram to successfully market their business. Attendees would benefit from understanding how to use Instagram personally, as this course will emphasise more specifically how businesses can best use the range of their free and paid features to reach new customers, and connect with their existing audiences, to ultimately grow their businesses.

  • Small Business Accounts - 18th January

Learn the skills and tools needed to create great social media content and how to monitor it's performance on your socials.

  • Small Business Accounts-  20th September 

This course is delivered by a chartered certified accountant and tax advisor who has nearly twenty years’ experience working with sole traders and limited companies.

  • Canva -Enhancing Social Media Content - 24th January

This course will give you the skills to be able to create more impactful social media posts using Canva including images, slideshows and videos.

  • Make Reels Like A Pro Using Capcut - 31st January

This training workshop is a comprehensive step by step demonstration how to effectively use Capcut to create high quality Reel’s and other video story content, during an intensive and interactive training programme. You will learn how each of the amazing built in video editing tools work.

Access to Finance

SMEs are supplied with credit through State-backed loan schemes and equity investment schemes. The operations of existing schemes are also reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure that appropriate options to finance remain available to SMEs not only during times of economic disruption, but to also address market failures. There are various programmes available to accelerate the sustainable growth of SMEs to develop enterprises of scale. The goal is to ensure that policy is evidence-based through stakeholder consultation and impact analysis. It would only be implemented when necessary and with the intended effects.
