The Yard @ Solas Project is a Social Enterprise

The Yard is the social enterprise arm of Solas Project, a youth work organisation based in the Liberties, Dublin. 

The Yard employs young people (15 – 24 years) who are at risk of long-term unemployment for a variety of factors which can include early school leaving, substance misuse and offending behavior.

The creation of the awareness raising Social Enterprise plaques and landing pages was funded under the 2021 

Awareness Raising Initiative for Social Enterprise (ARISE) Scheme.

The scheme, which was set up to help promote Social Enterprises and the positive impact they have on their local communities, is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development through the Dormant Accounts Fund
