Third Space is a Social Enterprise
Third Space was set up for people to have a space that was not living space, not working space, but a Third Space. Smithfield opened its doors in 2012 and it is a social business venture to open and run eating and meeting places in Dublin where there is a lack of community hubs. Third space has 5 core values; run a viable business, make magic every day , serve our guests whole heartedly, provide a space where change can happen and train people towards transformation.

The creation of the awareness raising Social Enterprise plaques and landing pages was funded under the 2021
Awareness Raising Initiative for Social Enterprise (ARISE) Scheme.
The scheme, which was set up to help promote Social Enterprises and the positive impact they have on their local communities, is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development through the Dormant Accounts Fund
